  • Coach leaders through organizational change, performance challenges, and complex people matters.
  • Strengthen leadership alignment, accountability, decision-making, role clarity, and cross-functional communication.
  • Identify organizational risks and opportunities while developing scalable structures, processes, and operating rhythms.

Leadership Development, Culture & Communication

  • Champion company values and reinforce a culture of integrity, trust, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Develop leadership and management capabilities at all levels.
  • Improve transparency, communication, employee engagement, recognition, and retention, with a target of maintaining at least 90% employee happiness.
  • Support Shingo initiatives, Lean principles, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with leadership on internal communications, employer branding, and initiatives that strengthen the employee experience.

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Align workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent priorities with business objectives.
  • Build scalable recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and talent development strategies.
  • Strengthen hiring quality, succession planning, leadership pipelines, and employee retention.
  • Establish effective performance management, talent review, and employee development processes.

HR Operations, Infrastructure & Risk Management

  • Oversee employee relations, employment compliance, compensation, benefits, performance management, onboarding, and HR systems.
  • Manage accurate, timely biweekly payroll and benefits and insurance administration.
  • Build efficient, scalable HR policies, processes, and infrastructure appropriate for a growing organization.
  • Partner with legal counsel on employment matters, investigations, and risk mitigation.
  • Guide compensation philosophy, organizational leveling, and total rewards strategy.
  • Leverage HR technology, automation, AI-enabled tools, and people analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Participate in company security and safety initiatives and support applicable compliance requirements.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Organizational Development, or a related discipline, including at least 3 years at the Director, VP, or equivalent strategic leadership level.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with CEOs and executive leadership teams in growing or evolving organizations.
  • Proven ability to build scalable HR systems, processes, and organizational infrastructure.
  • Broad knowledge of employee relations, employment compliance, compensation, benefits, payroll, performance management, talent strategy, and leadership development.
  • Experience improving organizational effectiveness, leadership alignment, communication, and workplace culture.
  • Strong business acumen, executive presence, sound judgment, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, recruiting technology, people analytics, and modern HR tools, including AI-enabled solutions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage organizational risk, and balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or high-growth technology environments.
  • Experience supporting organizational scaling, redesign, or transformation.
  • Background in organizational development, executive coaching, or leadership facilitation.
  • Experience with entrepreneurial leadership teams, OFCCP requirements, and multi-state employment compliance.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable certification.
  • Master's degree or advanced education in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or Leadership.
